We were tasked with designing a series of fun Mardi Gras 2021 activations for Westfield Bondi Junction. To bring a modern touch we decided to create a geometric rainbow tunnel at the front entrance and an abstract floor rainbow internally, both keeping to the traditional colours, but turning the traditional look on its head.
Both installations were made of coloured acrylic mirror panels and shards, the reflections of these created a series of different selfie opportunities and interesting photo moments. We also created a rainbow decal runway and various decal photo moments across the shopping centre.
